AWS Truewind will be presenting and exhibiting at the American Wind Energy Association’s annual Wind Resource and Project Energy Assessment Workshop in Minneapolis, MN.
Dr. Michael Brower, CTO, will present the pre-conference seminar: Introduction to Wind Resource Assessment on September 29th and will participate on the expert panel during the climatology session on September 30th. Assistant Meteorology Group Manager, Erik Hale, will provide insight into MCP techniques during the MCP Methodologies session, also on September 30th.
AWS Truewind’s President and CEO, Dr. Bruce Bailey, will be chairing the Shear and Remote Sensing session on October 1st. This session will look at techniques and pitfalls of extrapolating lower measurements to hub height as well as consider the application of remote sensing in a standard resource assessment program.
Eric White, VP of Consulting Services, will discuss current operational assessment methods at the final session on October 1st.
