AWS Truepower Received the 2011 Outstanding Industry Leader Award by the Alliance for Clean Energy New York (ACE NY)Monday, October 24th, 2011
The Outstanding Industry Leader Award is awarded as part of ACE NY’s Sustainable Energy Leadership Awards, which recognize exemplary leadership and outstanding work done on behalf of clean energy and sustainability in New York State.
The Alliance for Clean Energy New York (ACE NY) will present AWS Truepower with the 2011 Outstanding Industry Leader Award on October 26th.
Michael Brower, Chief Technical Officer, will be speaking on during the session titled: Intermittency Challenges. This session will explore models and case studies that quantify the impacts of solar intermittency on the distribution system.
Stephen Hatlee of AWS Truepower chaired a session called “Advances in Onshore and Offshore Wind” at the Advanced Energy Conference in Buffalo, NY. Discussion included remote sensing, a proven tool for measuring many wind characteristics without the use of a tall tower.
