AWS Truepower will be attending three renewable energy conferences during the month of October and presenting the latest information on wind and solar. The three events include:

- AWEA Offshore Conference & Exhibition – Baltimore, Maryland; Oct. 11-13 – Visit us at Booth #623
- Solar Power International 2011 (SPI) – Dallas, Texas; Oct. 17-20 – Visit us at Booth #655
At the AWEA Offshore Conference, Bruce Bailey, President and CEO, will be moderating a session entitled “Metocean Conditions: Design Inputs and Risks” on October 13th from 10:30 am until 12:00pm.
Philippe Beaucage, Senior Research Scientist, will be giving a podium presentation entitled “New Methods of Simulating the Impact of Turbine-Induced Wake in Large Wind Projects.”
Tanjia Maynard, Offshore Project Manager, will be showcasing a poster entitled “Offshore Health and Safety: Essential Considerations.”
Whitney Wilson, Senior Engineer, will present a poster entitled “Grid Congestion and Pricing: Barrier or Opportunity?”
Jeff Freedman, Lead Research Scientist at AWS Truepower, will be speaking about Offshore Wind Resource Assessment at the UWIG Fall Technical Workshop in Maui, Hawaii October 13-14.
At Solar Power International,Michael Brower, Chief Technical Officer at AWS Truepower will be addressing challenges for utility planners and operators withcase studies on the electrical distribution system. His presentation, entitled“Intermittency Challenges: PV system variability due to fluctuations in solar irradiance,” will be on October 20th from 10:30 – 12pm.
