AWS Truepower’s wind resource maps were created using proprietary advanced atmospheric models and historical weather data. They depict the mean annual wind speed at 200 meter resolution and an 80 meter hub height. You can browse wind speed layers and purchase wind resource maps, data sets and energy assessment reports for your project site through the Wind Site Assessment Dashboard.
Solar Maps
AWS Truepower’s solar resource maps were created using proprietary advanced atmospheric models and historical weather data. They depict approximate annual average global horizontal irradiance at 20 kilometer resolution. These maps are not intended to be used for prospecting or project design. For a more detailed assessment AWS Truepower offers advanced typical meteorological year (TMY) datasets and onsite resource assessment campaigns. Click here to request more information.
